Most seniors tell me, “I’m awkward in photos.” Then the session starts, and ten minutes in, they’re laughing. That’s the whole job. I guide every pose, keep the energy up, and catch the moments you didn’t know you were having. The result is portraits with rich color, real expression, and nothing stiff or staged. I started Schaldecker Studios because senior photos shouldn’t look like everyone else’s. After 15 years and 500+ sessions, I’ve learned that the best portraits happen when you’re having fun. So that’s how I run every session. WHAT A SESSION FEELS LIKE 1. We plan it together. Free consultation, then we pick your outfits and locations.
2. I do the directing. Show up as yourself. I’ll handle the posing.
3. You get your gallery approx. 3 weeks after the session. Edited, vibrant, and ready to print and share. FOR PARENTS
